Federica Bertino was born in Turin, Italy, on June 25, 1947.
She has been working on drawings, photography and paintings since 1970.

She has realized graphics texts, among which Genesis for the book series Il giro del sole, published by Mazzotta, by Janus, and Tempo Segreto, for the book series DisegnoDiverso, Gribaudo editions, by Paola Gribaudo.

Her drawings have been published in several magazines, such as The New York Review of Books, Tuttolibri - La Stampa, Noi Donne, Le donne ridono e Radure (Book of psychic matters), and in the series of books Minima Poetica - Il Salotto, Galleria d'Arte of Como.

Her collection Disegni per Nives 2009 won the first prize of the public in Grafò 2010.

As photographer, she exhibited in:
Paris, at the Palais de Tokyo, with the Centre National de la Photographie,
Montpellier, for Les Journées de la Photo,
Nice for the Septembre de la Photo,
Focales '98, in the framewotk of the Festival International de la Photographie,
Germany, at the Photo Art of Heidelberg,
Turin, at the IV and V International Biennial of Photography, and
worked for the Cahiers of the Museo della Montagna of Turin.

Her photos, paintings and drawings are deposited in art collections of several national and international museums and foundations.

As painter, she has exposed in numerous public and private spaces, both in Italy and abroad, among which:
in New York, at the Agora Gallery and at the school Guglielmo Marconi for the Long Island Art Fair and in Stockholm, at the Gallery of Contemporary Art.

She has participated in numerous art fairs, among which:
ArteFiera in Bologna,
Artissima in Turin,
Miart in Milan,
Den Haag-Holland, in The Netherlands .

She has collaborated with the Galleria d'Arte Contemporanea Gnaccarini of Bologna, the Salotto Galleria d'Arte of Como, and the Studio Laboratorio of Turin.

With her paintings, photographs and drawings she has realized more than 150 exhibitions.
